Eminent Commander is the highest ranking officer the individual chapter of a fraternity. The commander conducts chapter meetings and sees over all events that take place in the house. Sigma Nu uses the term "Eminent Commander" instead of "President" because of Sigma Nu's military history.

Lieutenant Commander is the second highest ranking office in an individual chapter's house. The Lieutenant Commander sees over individual officers and is in charge of both Honor Council and the Executive Board.

The Financial Chair is in charge of all monetary issues with the fraternity house. This officer is responsible for creating budgets, collecting housing costs, and paying bills. This chair takes a business mindset and creative ideas for using the fraternities funds.

The Recorder is required to document all major events that happen in the fraternity, especially during weekly meetings. The recorder also creates and updates the schedule of events that happen within the chapter house.

The Candidate Marshall is the coordinator of the events that new candidates will participate in during their initiation semester. This includes teaching the new candidates the history of the house and fraternity while also helping them to begin gaining brotherhood within the fraternity.

Recruitment Chairman is the organizer of recruiting events that take place at the chapter house, on the University's campus, and other venues. Recruitment Chairman is usually one of the first members of the members of the house that a potential candidate will meet.

The LEAD Chairman is the conductor of LEAD sessions. LEAD is a Sigma Nu program that prepares the men of Sigma Nu for life after college.

The Academic Chairman enforces and encourages the academic aspects of the house. Academic Chairman watches over members of the house and gives or finds help for any members that may be struggling with their grades.

House Management Chair is one of the main active authorities over the physical Chapter House. The House Manager assigns house cleanings throughout the week and organizes cleaning projects like spring cleaning. The House Manager's main goal is to improve upon the physical condition of the house.

Chaplain is the religious and brotherhood coordinator of the house. Chaplain plans brotherhood events and conducts any religious events that take place in the house. No one religion is desired by the fraternity, and all faiths are accepted and encouraged.

The Alumni Relations Chair is one strongest connection between our chapter's current active members and our alumnus. The chairman also is in charge of organizing alumi events such as the annual University of Montana homecoming. The chairman is also invited to weekly alumni lunch to talk with local alumnus.

The Social Chair is the leader of all social events that take place in the house. This office includes the responsibilities of planning and encouraging members to participate in events such as Sorority Games or Movie Nights.
